This bed is a nice piece to grow in. It is well constructured, most of the assembly was easy and not to time consuming , Until, you get to the slats. This took a bit of time but increased the integrety of the structure and was well worth it. the purchase was made with bed only. and could be assembled at two hights. I chose the top assembly,for the max storage and play area under the bed
