Who says dreams happen only in sleep? The Isabella Post Panel Bed is a dream itself, thanks to sweet French detailing, architectural carving and an array of soft finish options that all work together to take your little girl from the real world into imaginary lands on a moment's whim.
This pretty post panel bed is crafted in the USA from durable poplar and select hardwood solids and veneers with some simulated wood components. Light antiquing, including gentle fly-specking and dry-brushing, gives the wood itself Old World charm, and Provencal detail - an arched headboard flanked by delicate spindle posts and topped with a central decorative detail, shaped trim pieces, crown moldings, and carved finials and feet on the footboard - captures the dreamy, romantic feel of the French countryside. Choose from a variety of soft solid-color finishes with subtle tonal striping along the bed's carved details and overlays.
Available in twin or full size, this post panel bed is designed with two bed rail positions. Use the low-lock position for small children who have just graduated to a big kid bed. Use the high-lock position for older children, or to make space for the optional pull-out twin trundle unit below. Because the included slat roll system provides ample mattress support, you won't need to use a box spring. Just add your own mattress and a pile of plush eyelet pillows.

Do not place your furniture in direct sunlight and/or a damp area. Arrange your furniture so it is not placed in front of or over heating or air conditioning vents. Avoid placing furniture directly under windows. Be careful not to place plastic materials (place mats, lamp bases, notebooks, etc.) on your furniture. Certain plastics have ingredients that may react with and damage the finish. Occasionally rotate accessories so they do not remain in the same spot for extended periods. Avoid creating marks on your furniture by placing a piece of felt, cloth, or leather under accessories. Lift objects from the top surface rather than dragging them across the finish when moving them. Use a protective pad when using your furniture as a writing surface (especially when using a ballpoint pen). Wipe up spills promptly. Water left over a prolonged period of time will cause white spots in the finish, and alcohol, perfume, after-shave, and medicines can cause severe damage to the finish. Dust frequently with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth. To remove accumulated dust or old furniture wax buildup, use a soft, lint-free cloth which has been dampened in a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Dry thoroughly using a clean, lint-free cloth, and then apply furniture polish, wiping it in the direction of the wood grain. It's recommended that the furniture be polished every six months.
