The convenient storage features of the Captain's Bookcase Bed with Trundle Bed add to its inherent charm and quality construction. The headboard features two shelves and two cabinets. The panel footboard features mission-style slats under a flat top rail. Constructed of solid eco-friendly hardwood, this bed is sturdy and durable. You can choose the bed-only option that comes with Captains Bookcase Headboard and Footboard bed, or you can choose the bed that comes with same set and includes the trundle bed.  The optional twin trundle bed pulls out to create an instant second bed for company. Available in twin or full size, this space-saver captain bed comes in three distinct finishes of - white, antique walnut, or natural maple. Finishes done in a 5 step process for the most durable kid-tough style.

About Atlantic Furniture
Founded in 1983 as Watercraft, Inc., Atlantic Furniture started as a manufacturer of pine waterbed frames. Since then, the Springfield, Mass.-based company has expanded to Fontana, Calif. Atlantic's Unique Five-Step Finishing Process
Each product in the entire line is finished with a high-build, five-step finishing process. After a thorough sanding, a wipe-on sealer is applied, followed by a tinted sealer to even the grain and color of the wood. Additional sanding prepares the surface for the first base color coat, more sanding, and a second base color coat. After a final sanding, the finish coat is applied. This process produces a beautiful and durable finish that will last for years.
