I was pleased with the ease of assembly on this bed. It went together without a hitch. It looks great and has decent construction values for the price. However, the "free" mattress is another story. I know it was built into the price and I feel cheated. This thing is an embarrassment to mattresses everywhere. It came rolled up in a box. I wouldn't let anyone I like sleep on it. Glad I didn't pay for a second one.

I asked my parents for this bed as a Christmas present. The bed is beautiful. The mattresses are absolutely awful. You can buy a twin mattress 10 times better anywhere. It reminds me of a cheap cot, you can feel every spring/coil in the thing. $130 is a rip off. I tried to return it and they told me it was my preference that the mattress was awful and told me it was going to be $60 to return it. I finally got them down to $20 where I paid their cost, but if a customer is unhappy with the quality you would expect them to step in and help with the exchange. My parents also ordered the wrong size so the exchange and return process has cost me $130. Make sure you are not going to want to return this as they are a HUGE HASSLE to deal with.

The bed construction is awesome. Sturdy. I already had one of this model, so this was my second.

However, this time, I paid extra to have both mattresses included thinking it'd save me a few bucks. BIG MISTAKE. They are absolutely awful, cheapy, junk mattresses (that arrived ROLLED up in a box about the size of a very small coffee table). Now I have to spend even more to get decent mattresses. Even a cheap foam mattress will be an improvement.

I was looking for a sofabed or daybed of some kind to use in my smallish second bedroom. Neither a pure sofa or a pure bed was going to work since I needed the use of both - something large enough to comfortably sleep at least 2 people and small enough to fit in the room. This daybed was perfect. It's well built, looks attractive and it's easy to build. Very happy with it. I first ordered the full size but the dimensions were a bit too large. The 55" depth was inaccurate. The inner depth of the bed (from the edge to the back board) was 55 and the additional 3-4 inches of the external dimension made all the difference. So I returned the full and got the twin size instead. Customer support was extremely helpful in getting the switch done. They picked up the shipping for the switch. I'm very happy with my new twin day bed. I'm usually a reluctant web shopper, but after going to all the major furniture stores (at least 10 of them) I bought this bed. As long as you're comfortable with the look and dimensions, you'll probably be happy with it. It is just as advertised. I would definitely use this company again.

We purchased 2 of these daybeds. As other's have suggested, we also purchased the extra long mattresses. Instructions for putting the beds and trundle together were very clear and one person can easily set them up. Would recommend the Casey daybeds to anyone!

Service and delivery comments:

Our beds arrived in good condition but delivery was slow although that was maybe due to our location. I did call customer service and they were very helpful with information on the shipper and phone numbers to contact them.
