Eight straight spindles traverse the back of the daybed, while four support each arm. On the corners of the back and front of the arms are large shell-shaped zinc castings that secure the posts to the top rails. Each foot is also adorned with nautically-inspired castings. The stunning Gold Frost finish is achieved by a multi-step, hand-applied gilding process. First, a base layer of dappled gold and silver is applied. Then, it's glazed with black. Finally, it's cloaked in lacquer for long-lasting beauty and resilience.

The smooth bottom panel is also flame resistant to keep you extra safe in the event of an emergency. The mattress is filled with a double layer of High Density Dream Soft polyurethane foam for added comfort. Mattress measures 73L x 37W x 5.75 inches
