Ahoy! I spot a fine-looking treasure in the Pirate Ship Toddler Bed. Hand-crafted with imported, laminated Baltic Birch, this bed has been carefully constructed to make it easy to get into but hard to fall out of. The easy-access, 12-inch height gives you peace of mind from nasty spills and injuries. Be warned: considering the obstinate and prideful nature of the industry, most grown pirates deny ever having slept in a pirate ship toddler bed. It's fun while it lasts, though.     My husband put this together in about 30 minutes. The only con in the side rails that are up by the pillow, I had to pad them b/c my son would roll over and hit his head.

        This bed is too cute. My 16 month old loves it. I was a little concerned he might be a bit youg for the transition, however it's gone great. He sleeps soundly as usual every night and awakens at his regular routine time. I added a safety gate to his door...just in case he tried to break loose in the house. So far, no problems. He enters and exits easily and safely. Changing the mattress cover is so much easier!

          Easy to assemble. I thought it was cuter in person than pictured. My little Pirate loves it! It also doubles from a bed to a mighty pirate ship sailing the high seas. I don't know who gets more of a kick out of it my 2 year old or his Dad!
