My 2 year old son absolutely loves this bed. We transitioned him from a crib that was converted with a toddler rail to this bed. He looks forward to getting into it to go to sleep every night. It is simple, sturdy and easy to assemble. My husband and one other person put it together in 15-20 minutes and all the parts were there. I didn't give it 5 stars because I think it's a little pricey.

the bed looks great in my toddlers safari themed room.. it was very fast to assemble.. the only thing i did not like is that there are no guides to where the nails go through the headbboard and footboard.. you have to guess.. The side panels do have holes but the front and back do not.

Overall, I am very pleased with our new military toddler bed. Our 21 month old son likes it, and we are transitioning him from his crib to the bed now. More importantly, it is solid and sturdy so I can feel comfortable about him sleeping in it. The corners are rounded and smooth; there is nothing for him to poke himself with.
However, let me note to other customers that the bed arrived with some problems: a misplaced, exposed screw, a support rail that was separated from the rest of the bed, a different rail that was not centered properly so the pieces don't sit flush, and a very sharp piece of splintered wood that would be exposed to the bed occupant. My husband was able to fix all of these craftsmanship flaws. Additionally, there are no pre-drilled guide holes. For the price, I expected better.

Picked up this bed at a yard sale for my Great Dane who is on bed rest while recovering from a knee surgery. She absolutely loves it! It fits her perfectly. The other dogs are always waiting for a chance to get in the bed and snuggle down. Recommend this highly for folks that treat their pets as treasured members of the family.

I had been looking for the perfect bed to go with a safari-themed room. Not only was this perfect, but it took me less than a half an hour with only a screwdriver, and all of my kids love it. They all read stories in it and my 2 yo boy took to it immediately. Highly recommended and cute.
